The 2026 Glass Circuit Tour

In 2025, The d’Art Center launched its first Glass Circuit Event in alignment with Chrysler Museum’s Perry Glass Studio Grand Reopening Weekend. The Glass Circuit Tour featured glass exhibits, glass demos, art activities, and free transportation that connected three venues – The d’Art Center, Chrysler’s Perry Glass Studio, and The Glass Light Hotel.

Over 700 people participated in the Inaugural 2025 Glass Circuit Tour and The d’Art Center is excited to bring back this event and celebrate The NEON District and Downtown Norfolk as a known destination for glass art!

The Glass Circuit Tour features glass exhibits, glass demos, art activities & free transportation connecting three venues in Norfolk.

Discover the artistry, innovation, and craftsmanship that defines our city’s glass community as we connect three incredible venues:

  • The newly expanded Perry Glass Studio at Chrysler Museum
  • The d’Art Center
  • The Glass Light Hotel

This self guided event is free with transportation provided… and tour participants can win BIG prizes!

Start at d’Art Center to collect your passport, Glass Circuit Bag, and event swag! Collect stamps at each of the venues and make lasting memories as you explore! At the end of your day, turn in your fully stamped passport to d’Art Center and be entered to win a lottery of prizes from each venue.

More Tour Directions & Transportation Information: Park your car in The NEON District (see the map here). The d’Art Center & Chrysler’s Perry Glass Studio are neighbors, so travel by foot between these two NEON District locations. Find marked shuttles at marked locations for easy travel between the NEON District and the Downtown Norfolk tour location: Glass Light Hotel & Gallery.

What’s happening at each venue?

At Chrysler Museum’s Perry Glass Studio: Enjoy glass demos in the studio’s new state of the art facility and watch glass artists create in real time!

At d’Art Center: This year, our Glass Immersed Dual Installation at d’Art Center will feature a Juried Glass Art Exhibit as well as an Artisan Glass Sale featuring both local and national artists. Both are free and open to the public and will draw our community to The NEON District and Downtown Norfolk.

This installation will also outline the history of Norfolk’s Glass Scene, as well as the history of the Studio Glass Making Movement. The Juried Exhibit will highlight a unique and diverse range of glass artworks while the Artisan Glass Sale will provide functional and decorative glass pieces for sale – perfect for both seasoned and new collectors!

The juror for the juried show component of Glass Immersed is Program Director at the Chrysler Museum of Art Perry Glass Studio, Norfolk, VA, Robin Rogers.

This Dual Installation will be on exhibit March 21st – April 18th, 2026 and will be a destination on The Norfolk Glass Circuit Event.

At Glass Light Hotel: View The Perry Family Foundation Collection which features beautiful glass pieces from local and internationally renowned artists. This private collection encompasses two floors of over 65 glass art pieces from world renowned artists. Some currently being featured are Dale Chihuly, Stephen Rolfe Powell, Nancy Callan, Karen Lamonte, Peter Bremers, Katherine Gray & Lucy Lyon.
